Thank you so much for all the photos and records that are coming in -it makes it hard to select a few! Geoff Hall has been at Upper Darnford where he spotted this female Keeled Skimmer (left) with light ochre pterostigma and clear antehumeral stripes. Golden-ringed Dragonfly (below left) and a female Broad-bodied Chaser (below right) were also seen and beautifully photographed. Elsewhere at Venus Pool Jan Shields captured this mating pair of Ruddy Darter (far below left) and a wonderful Emperor inflight (far below right) whilst Mark Underwood at the same location saw Black-tailed Skimmer (far far below left) with clear wings and yellow antenodal crossveins. And last but not least 2 wonderful photos of Banded Demoiselle seen by Julian Cartwright at Preston Montford -the male with no pterostigma and the female with a false white pterostigma – or pseudo pterostigma!
