As we approach the end of the flight season the weather remains mild for now and sightings are still coming in. Jan Shields recently photographed this fabulous Emerald Damselfly at The Bog, Stiperstones and on 4th October I was watching a female Southern Hawker ovipositing in a Pontesbury pond. Don’t forget to send in your records from this season so they actively contribute to our knowledge of dragon and damselfly activity in Shropshire.
