Bob Dennison (County Dragonfly Recorder for Radnorshire) has seen a male Norfolk Hawker flying at New House farm Pools SO4694 9429 near Church Stretton. No photo, but incredible that we now have 3 separate locations for this protected species in Shropshire!
Elsewhere, Bob Kemp returned to Comer Wood at Dudmaston to find 3 tandem pairs and a number of male Willow Emerald Damselflies. Bob’s photos clearly show some of the most striking features of this species; length of abdomen, light large pterostigma on the ‘spread’ wings and also the light coloured anal appendages of the male.
