Tim Walter has sent in the first record of Common Blue Damselfly (pictured left) seen alongside Blue-tailed Damselflies at Pam’s Pools near Bridgnorth. Things have remained slow in getting going and today is the first day I’ve had a few records arrive. Jan Shields has seen the first Large Red Damselflies emerging from her pond in Hanwood and has sent in these photos of a Large Red Damselfly female and a superb photo of a Large Red exuviae…great proof of successful breeding.
