It’s that crazy time of year where people are already talking Christmas so I thought I’d post a reminder to please make sure you have all your records entered into iRecord or emailed to myself by Christmas. That then gives me a chance to have a look at the comings and goings of 2025 and produce a newsletter before we start again!
The weather has been so mild that some of you are still possibly seeing the odd individual on the wing- please do let me know if you do as ‘late records’ could be broken. Our newest species Willow Emerald (photo left taken by Geoff Hall) is known to fly late into autumn and the rare migrant Vagrant Emperor can show up anytime, though often in November moth traps!
