Nothing reported yet, but keep your eyes open for the first Large Red Damselflies. 2025 saw the earliest ever Shropshire individuals emerge on April 5th!
This exuviae was photographed by Jan Shields in previous years, but gives you a good idea what to look for on your garden pond. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if the adult has actually emerged so look for the white threads which will tell you if it’s ok to collect it.
