Mark Underwood has sent in these great photos from the Long Mynd. Firstly a female Golden-ringed Dragonfly enjoying a light lunch and below a lovely inflight Emperor Dragonfly and a female ovipositing. The Emperors were photographed at Pole Cottage Pools which are dwindling by the day in this hot weather and even the main car park pool is now looking very low. Mark also captured this inflight photo of a female Broad-bodied Chaser (far below left) and a rather tatty old Four-spotted Chaser harassing a Broad-bodied Chaser (far below right).
