Stephen Barlow recently noticed a White-faced Darter take it’s maiden flight post emergence. He grabbed his camera to photograph the individual where it landed only to see a Common Lizard leap into the frame and carry the subject away. Stephen just about managed to spot some ‘leftovers’ photographed top left! Fortunately many other White-faced Darters are emerging and some last a bit longer as shown by the second individual below left.
