Jim Almond has sent in these great shots of a teneral male Brown Hawker seen in the meadow near Venus Pool. Light brown/milky eyes and glassy wings are typical of recently emerged individuals which are still vulnerable to damage and should therefore not be netted….just enjoyed as seen here!
