S. Barlow has been keeping an eye on things at Whixall Moss and reports that numbers are generally down following this recent lack of summer weather. That said, he did spot a partial Common Hawker record presented by this Reed Bunting! Brown Hawkers have also been seen at Whixall (live ones!) and what’s more, an early record of Common Darter has been made by S. Townsend back on 28th May this year.
