Many of you have been in touch with sightings at Whixall Moss of Large Red and Azure Damselflies, Banded Demoiselles, White-faced Darters and Four-spotted Chasers -seen here in this great photo from P. Spear. L. Wilkinson also reports a praenubila form of Four-spotted Chaser in which far more dark coloration is visible on the wings around the nodes and sometimes on the wing tips. D.
