Geoff Hall has sent in these beautiful photos of Black Darter taken at Pole Cottage on the Long Mynd. This acidic pool specialist is the smallest dragonfly species in the uk as well as being one of our declining species. These atmospheric photos provide a great incentive for us all to do what we can to conserve this species for years to come.
