Stephen Barlow has sent in this fabulous photo of a female White-faced Darter emerging in the spring sunshine. He described how difficult it was to achieve this photo due to this species typically emerging over ‘out of reach’ unstable areas of sphagnum, but with some careful positioning of a tripod and remote wizardry with his phone he got the shot- a lovely detailed glimpse of this emerging rarity!
