Not quite the Christmas carol, but the real thing! 5 of these fabulous large dragonflies seen by J. Shields on 8th July at Carding Mill Valley and an earlier one seen by R. Webster on 4th July below Lightspout Waterfall in the same valley. Jan’s photos show an immature male on the left (lacking the striking green eyes of mature specimens) and a further individual having a not so light lunch!
