It may still be early April, but with sunshine in the forecast for this weekend remember to be on the hunt not just for Easter eggs but also for our first Shropshire dragons or damselflies for 2023! Whixall Moss often seems to be the first place where sightings are made, but the earliest ever launch to the flight season was made at Langleyfields, Telford on 8th April, 2017 when David Williams spotted the first Large Red Damselfly.
