A number of you are still sending in records in late October and most recently Stephen Barlow sent in this image of a female Black Darter basking on the notice board at Whixall Moss on 22nd October. In previous years darters have been seen flying even till late November so definitely keep an eye out and please send in any sightings.
If you have species records from 2023 that you still need to send in then please do so before Christmas…this then gives me a chance to collate all the data and report on the comings and goings before they all start again!
