Jan Shields has managed to capture 3 damselflies in one photo over her pond in Hanwood, which just goes to show what a few days sunshine can do for a boost in numbers! Having had a relatively slow and patchy start to the year it’s great to see many more individuals on the wing and some successfully making it to maturity and forming tandem pairs as seen here.
