White-faced Darter on the wing!

By April 28, 2014Blog

A great start to the blog thanks to Barrie Smith who saw 2 teneral White-faced Darters at Whixall Moss today April 28th. According to my data this is the earliest ever recorded sighting of this species in Shropshire and even better we have photographic proof- a great spot! You’ll be pleased to hear numerous Large Red Damselfly were also seen at this location so it seems the flight season is really underway. Keep me posted…
